Today (January 4th 2017), we drove to Rome for the remainder of our trip. Tried to eat lunch at a restaurant recommended to me, but we didn’t have reservations so they had to turn us away. That ended up okay, since we ate at a little place with a patio and it was FABULOUS! I had tortellini with mushrooms, peas and sausage, two glasses of wine, and of course Tiramisu!

We walked around a few shops, snapped some pics, chatted with some locals and even got a traditional Italian greeting (a kiss on each cheek) from a handsome Italian man!
